Cherry Gallery Damariscotta, Maine
|
The Cherry Gallery was the building which housed the Town Hall/Firehouse/Police Station. The owners bought the building to turn into an antiques gallery specializing in rustic furniture. The plan was for an acid stained floor but there was a difficult challenge of having to first remove 10 layers of built up paint covering 2,400 square feet. This project took a good deal of time to finish but the result was worth it.
