Basement Floor Improvement Project 2004

| This home improvement project is an example of a basic floor staining that can be used to enhance a new room being added to an existing basement. The owner was looking to create a room that would have an Italian "Tuscany" look. The concrete floor surface was prepared for staining by a light sanding followed by a thorough cleaning. Two coats of Kemiko's "Malay Tan" were applied to create the rich color of brown leather. The staining was followed by two coats of sealer and three coats of wax.
